Marc Kaplan

Marc is a 1974 Siena College alum. While at Siena he was Music Director then Program Director of WVCR. After graduation, Marc served in just about every position possible at area radio stations. He was Program Director, News Director, Production Director, Sports Director, Air Personality, Basketball Play-By-Play Announcer, Talk Show Host and Salesperson on numerous stations. One of Marc’s all-time favorite jobs was as Play-By-Play Announcer for the Albany Patroons when Phil Jackson was coach. Marc has also covered politics quite extensively and has been heard on radio nationwide reporting on important news and sports stories from the Albany area. He also has managed communications for the New York State Assembly Insurance and Housing Committees, the Medical Society of the State of New York, the American Lung Association of New York State and many others. He has also managed several political campaigns.Along with being on 88.3 The Saint, Marc is also Director of Education and Outreach of the Alzheimer’s Association of Northeastern New York and volunteers for various organizations.


In his free time Marc most enjoys spending time with his wife, Albany Attorney Susan Milstein and their daughter Elena. He also enjoys playing tennis, listening to music, reading and rooting on his Siena Saints, New York Yankees and New York Giants.
